Shea butter reviving my undead arms

may 29, 2014: thursday- 5:42pm:
greetings from 4 corners,

shea butter is a miracle!!! i've got curls pop'n everywhere and my hair feels softer, fuller (and i didn't think it was possible.) but i bought some when i was at the saint louis african arts festival. so, glad i went awesomely good time and next year. i need to bring more money!!! such cute dresses and jewelry. oh and i could use some ebony statues. anyways, very excited.

but back to shea butter….
my recent bout with eczema has left me with dark blotches on my arms, all the way to my elbows and the backs of my hands. however, after putting shea butter on it for the last…..well since monday night. my skin is softer, smoother and the spots have lightened on my arms as well as my hands. so, THANK GOD FOR SHEA BUTTER!!!! (cause i was looking like something that had crawled out of the grave by the ams.) and i have had a baby, so uhm yeah i have stretch marks but they are fading more than they already were and seem to be shrinking….if that makes any sense….?
all and all, i plan on getting and keeping shea butter in my house, i think it goes without saying, especially with results like that.

as of late i have been watching the twilight saga, much to the immensity of a love stricken pre-teen with a crush that doesn't know she exists. and i mean like all 5 movies, back to back…going on 3 times this week. i know….i have waaaay to much time on my hands. thanks for reminding me. but…anyways. they sure are enjoyable. and moving along. lol

----10:39pm:
my scamp was getting restless. so, a walk, a snack, a long play time with his grandparents and chinese for dinner later. here i am. oh and on that chinese…a little bit of buyer's remorse. the plain rice….was indeed so plain it might as well been white. and i pretty much wasted $6 cause the garlic sauce was…well. just a waste. so, tomorrow i plan on buying nair (peach fuzz on legs aren't to be seen on anniversary weekend), getting my deep conditioner, hopefully some clothes or at least a hat and continuing on with my fun filled weekend.
well, signing off wishing you peace, love, joy, health and a sound mind.

Pudding, t25 and and ballet shoes

greetings from 4 corners,

i have been thinking about taking some kind of dance class. contemporary, ballet or jazz. some thing. listening to nina simone's " wild is the wind". my scamp has fallen asleep to her yet again. i think he finds her deep voice soothing. on the 22nd we went to a dance exhibit of sorts and i throughly enjoyed it. so did the scamp, he clapped and swayed. especially for the irish dancers. he listens to that music at home so he loved it.

on another note, i cant wait for next weekend. our anniversary is  coming up and i cant wait to have some baby free time. just to go out, eat without feeding two people, no wiping up messes and switching off the baby across our laps while watching at the movies. that kind of free time, whew! so excited. it's been a while since i've had some extensive baby free time. i can break out all the cute clothes i wore before the baby bump kicked in.
cute skirts, jackets, my favorite leather slouch boots. oh yes…cant wait.

and on the topic of fashion and looks. i think i want to complete my look. be a fearless as i used to be when i was in high school. it's amazing how fearless and uninhibited i was. and now i am struggling trying to find her again. usually it's the other way around but i'm getting closer to her and i think it's a time to be a complete me. have the outside look how i feel on the inside. i have already made the leap and became natural. i have had 2 big chops and it's official plus it's been 8 months since my last vigorol and 2 months..or at least 1 full month since my last press. which i am not getting again. no more heat. not to say that's a normal recurring thing for me anyway. a full head of naturally curly hair, which is in fact wavy and cooly to my great dismay is also, quite manageable. THANK GOD!!! LOL

if anyone cares these are my few but very helpful hair products that i use:

shampoo:
suave naturals shea butter and almond
note: i also have used the rosemary and mint, which was very refreshing and tingling, good for relaxing, plus i love mint. i bought the shea and almond on accident but i worked out. it left my hair very soft and moisturized. both are good for detangling.

conditioner:
sauve naturals shea butter and almond

oils:
organix coconut milk anti breakage serum
gainer fruitis marvelous oil (which is in fact very marvelous) dry, damaged
note: i also use these to seal my ends with. works just fine for me but i am also going to my local african arts festival soon to buy some sheer butter. haven't tried it before but we shall see.

leave in conditioner:

i make mine, it's about 4oz of the suave conditioner, 1 1/2oz of my oils and water. i usually add as much as i think i need. sometimes i like to leave it a bit thick and frothy. so, it all depends on what i'm feeling my hair needs.

Extras:
of course the eco styler gel, that most naturals mention but i have stumbled across something else. it's a conditioning pudding that works like a dream (i currently have it in ym head. my two strands are in place without looking stiff.). it's called african pride shea butter moisture intense bouncy curl pudding. i smells great, has every essential oil you would want in there and two butters (shea and mango). will definately be buying somemore. it was half the price of normal puddings which can be $10 or up. this was $5.46 (that includes tax). so, anyways so happy i found it. :D

so, back to my outsides matching my insides. i feel happy about this. i have been on one of my absolute favorite websites, etsy.com. that website has everything an eclectic soul like mine could want. since im a peculiar sort of girl. i have at least 20 different pocket watches i want in my favorites. but anyways, so on easy i saw hair chalk and i am going to give it try. just some purple and or blue streaks. along with these beautiful ear cuff earrings, there's a butterfly and dragon i want. (side note: i need to get my thirds (cartilage) put back in.) anyways, i want to chug my glasses. besides i'm due for an appointment….actually that's an understatement. i'm about 5 years over due. terrible i know. lol get some new glasses and i want to try sun dresses. the Bear says, " you always look great anything you wear. i like your style." then smiles. which tells me he means it cause if he didn't he would tell me. " uh, babe…don't you think you would like the other one better?" XD very sweet way of saying that don't look good. however, i'm going to be very cautious about buying clothes cause i strongly dislike( never say the "H" word. lol) buying clothes that either don't fit right or i never wear.
i cant tell how many shirts or skirts i have bought online or in the store that i either underestimated how small i am or overestimated the stretch in the waist. so, never again. ross has become my little go to store for cheap clothes and expensive turned insanely cheap beauty products.

t25, ok. so, for the last 3 weeks i have been doing it every morning. well, minus like 4 days in the past 3 weeks but i was still active and going for walks  atlas once or 2x a day so it still works out. but that work out is nuts but very effective. im loosing weight and that's awesome hopefully i can be at or near my goal by independence day. so, we shall see.

signing off wishing you peace, love, joy, health and a sound mind.
